Located on a quiet street that ends with the Tongariro River (150 meters from the house), just on the outskirts of Turangi township the "Trout Fishing Capital of the World". This is a great base for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Whakapapa ski area (40 min drive) and Taupo (40 min drive). Close to everything, Tokaanu hotpools (5 min drive), supermarket (5 min drive) or a 25 minute stroll (1.9km) by the river into town.
